ISSHINRYU KARATE

 

We are a small private dojo, located in Bangkok, Thailand of like minded individuals who practice and study traditional Okinawan Karate-do. We practice Isshin-Ryu as prescribed by founder Shimabuku Tatsuo Sensei and follow the Isshin Kai, which is headed by Arcenio J. Advincula Sensei.

 

The dojo has grown over the past several years largely through word of mouth and has been maintained as a small dojo on purpose. However, if you practice Okinawan Karate-do, Goju Ryu, Shorin Ryu, Uechi Ryu, or are interested in studying and live in Bangkok, or are passing through and are looking for a small no frills dojo to train and meet other Okinawan Karate-do practitioners, you can send inquiries to isshinryukrungthep@yahoo.com or click here:

 

Prior to training we request to meet you and discuss your desire to train, martial arts background, etc. We believe that Karate-do is just that, not sport Karate, MMA, or anything like that. We pursue Karate-do as a Budo and practice it as such.  If you are interested in martial sport, please look elsewhere. Only serious inquiries please.
