We are a practice group headed by senior students, who act as instructors while attempting to refine and expand their knowledge of the Nishio principles applied to aikido techniques. 

 

We spend all of our time during aikido and Toho Iai sessions trying to practice these techniques according to the methods and principles taught by the sensei(s) who were the senior students of the late Nishio Sensei, and by their senior students, the next generation. Several of us also study Isshinryu Karatedo, a traditional Okinawan school of karate, which we have found to be of great assistance in developing our understanding of  aikido, and vice-versa. 

 

In order to continue our study of these teachings, we found it necessary to establish our own dojo. As is often the case in such instances, there are those who object to our existence as a separate community of practitioners, and to our use of social media and the web to inform the global aikido community, our families and our friends of our activities.

 

We apologize to those people who object, we wish them every success, and we hope they will eventually accept our existence. Anyone wishing to practice the Nishio principles as applied to aikido in Bangkok should know that they have other options which they should explore before joining our practice group.
